You proposed a 7v7, but I believe that would be too laggy. What about a 6v6 to start? Play 5 maps in a US server, then 5 maps in an EU server (may have to do on two seperate day/nights). The best combined map score wins. If tied, play a map in a US server, then a map in an EU server until one side wins both maps.

As far as rules, I'm ok with all of the stated rules on your treaty except a few mentioned. Let's just run through what we'd like and we can compromise a little.

~No tanks
~Team Damage ON
~No special classes (unlockable classes)
~No switching between the pistol and rifle on the grunt (trooper) classes rapidly
~No glitching period (wall hacks - the pillar walking on Death Star is allowed by our standards too)
~No spawn juping (You guys allow this, I'd like to this not allowed as yes, anyone can do it, but occasionally you miss it and I'd rather not leave a game up to a little bit of timing on a spawn jump)
~We typically do not do clone wars, but this is negotiable...

We'd also like to set up class restrictions. Perhaps no more than 3 rockets and no more than 3 engineers at a time? We usually make it very class specific so this would be loosening up our rules a lot actually.

But yeah two best OF five map battles for EU vs US. One in the EU server, and the other in the US server. Then if one side won in one server, and the other side won in the other server... then it'll go to whoever won more maps in the series.

Let's discuss maps here, not on the chatbox so we actually have a record of them. You can pick CTF maps...

First match(EU Server hosted)
{US}Tantive Conquest - {EU}Faction
{EU}Map - {US}Faction
{US}Poliss Massa Conquest - {EU}Faction
{EU}Map - {US}Faction
{US}Naboo Conquest - {EU}Faction

Second match(US Server hosted)
{EU}Map - {US}Faction
{US}Mos Eisely Conquest - {EU}Faction
{EU}Map - {US}Faction
{US}Coruscant Conquest - {EU}Faction
{EU}Map - {US}Faction

To make clear... one match can be done on one night, and the other can be done on another. It's being split into two matches after-all. If we tried doing both in one night, it'd be a bit ridiculous...

Whoever is in charge of picking maps for the EU, get me your factions and maps as soon as possible. I posted ours in the last post. Also tell me what class restrictions you'd like so we have a general idea of what we're working with. Specials may be negotiable depending on what you want exactly...

I've added our maps/factions:

First match(EU Server hosted)
{US}Tantive Conquest - {EU}Empire
{EU}Deathstar (CTF) - {US}Faction
{US}Poliss Massa Conquest - {EU}Rebels
{EU}Mustafar (CTF) - {US}Faction
{US}Naboo Conquest - {EU}Empire

Second match(US Server hosted)
{EU}Deathstar (CTF) - {US}Faction
{US}Mos Eisely Conquest - {EU}Rebels
{EU}Mustafar (CTF) - {US}Faction
{US}Coruscant Conquest - {EU}Empire
{EU}Jabbas Palace - {US}Faction

We've left Clonewars out, hope 2 CTF maps per match is okay.
If we have a 2nd match it should be 1 week later. So the 1st would be Friday, 27th May, 2nd would be Friday, 3rd June.
When you want to start?

So those are the maps, I hope the dates will be Ok. It's nice that we have this BFC, because if we didn't it would be hard to organise an event with 6 different leaders or so. I hope you can get a good team together and I think all those rules are fine which you mentioned in the first post. And I'm glad the CTF maps are alright because we were careful to only choose GCW
for you guys. Can I just say on behalf of most people at EU it has been nice meeting you all so far and I hope the EU-US partnership will go far. The only issue now for this event is the time because of the big time difference, and with some people at school on Fridays it could be difficult, but maybe you could post what's best for you in the topic. About the 6 v 6/7v7 issue, either me or phantom will get back to you on that unless you have it sorted already.

Thanks, Viddy, and yes I hope the EU-US relationship keeps going as well as it has so far.

Friday may not work for the reason as you said, the time gap difference makes it tough to do on weekdays due to some still have school. We may have to wait until summer gets going because some of the players we wish to start have work on weekends. But once summer gets going, options for dates will open up...As soon as we find a date to do the first match of the series, we will inform you immediately of it here.

The 6v6/7v7 situation is like this... If we can do a 7v7, then we will. If not a 6v6 should more than suffice.

7 vs 7 would be best I think.
About the time, we usually play our Events at 19:30 CET. I don't know which timezone you use for official Events, so which time would it be for you?

7:40(19:40 Military time) PM CET would translate to 1:40 PM EST.

10:30 PM CET would be best. At least it'd be 4:30 PM EST, and 3:30 Central time then. We'll probably have to wait until summer fully kicks into gear to do this.

Well, we have 4 paid servers. One in London, One in Amsterdam and Two in Germany I think? But we definitely have 1 in England, Netherlands and Germany, I'm not sure if the English one will be available though. If we have to wait till the summer then we could do a few scrims beforehand in the weeks leading up to summer and we should keep the maps that we've decided, but if there is a way to do it before summer it would be nice.

The server which is currently running in London will be down soon, so mind that this isn't available.

Did anyone think of you, in case we have some long-term partnership to host a server on Iceland or Canada, i.e. in Quebec?

This could diminish the pretty huge gap between both our connections.

The Server in London is already down, but I think Amsterdam (Netherlands) is closest to USA, even if there won't be a big difference to RoR Server (Hosted in Germany).
The date/time is much more important, is it possible to play fridays if we start at 23:00 CET (~4 pm in USA)?

23:00 CET o.O
Well maybe i can make that to record it but it's a bit late xD. Maybe we could wait till summer? But I might be able to make it. I'm not sure about people like Kova though or others who can't play that late
