If the battle is "team deathmatch" style (no base capping). Here is how to properly cap the bases before the killing begins (for even spawn areas and no lost reinforcements).
Coruscant:
Team that starts with CP 6 captures CP 4 and 2
Team that starts with CP 3 captures CP 5 and CP 1
Dagobah:
Team that starts with CP 1 captures CP 2 and CP 6
Team that starts with CP 5 captures CP 4 and CP 3
Hoth:
Team's MAY spawn at Shield Generator/AT-AT's for team deathmatch style battles only! Not in conquest battles
Jabba's Palace: (Map highly suggested not to use for TDM matches due to accidental base capping)
Team that starts with CP 5 captures CP 4
Team that starts with CP 2 captures CP 1
CP 3 may not be captured (careful rolling through

Tantive IV:
Team that starts at CP 1 captures CP 2
Team that starts at CP 4 captures CP 3
Utapau:
Team that starts at CP 1 captures CP 5
Team that starts at CP 6 captures CP 2
Yavin IV:
CP 4 may not be captured
If a base is captured at any point during a team death match (turned white or all the way other color. The match must be paused, the team recaptures the base, the score confirmed, and the teams return to their homebase to restart. If the score cannot be confirmed, the map must be replayed. Therefore it is highly recommended as with any battle, you have a spectator.
Once the correct bases are captured, both teams must confirm they are ready where they stand, then start.
